Faith Communities Today (FACT) research and publications are collaborative products of the Cooperative Congregational Studies Partnership (CCSP). Partners include a wide, multi-faith spectrum of denominations and faith groups – Oldline, Evangelical and Black Protestant, Orthodox and Roman Catholic, Unitarian-Universalist and Latter-day Saints, Jewish, Bahai and Muslim.

FACT/CCSP primary purposes are to offer research-based resources for congregational development, and to enhance the capacity of our partners to do and to use research within their particular communities. We also seek to advance the public’s understanding of congregations’ contribution to American society.

The FACT series of national surveys of congregations is at the center of our research program. The series tracks changes in U.S. congregations beginning with the groundbreaking FACT2000 survey of 14,301 churches, synagogues, parishes, temples and mosques. Special modules within any given survey further plumb the dynamics of selected congregational practices and challenges.

Publications include both user friendly research reports and our Insights series. [Read More About CCSP]
